- FDA OKs Medtronic Blood Sugar Monitor
(FDA CHANGEQUAKE) -- Medtronic announced that regulators have approved its Guardian RT device that provides both Type I and Type II diabetics with nearly constant monitoring of their blood-sugar levels and alerts them to dangerous highs and lows. The product automatically updates every five minutes and sounds an alert if a patient's blood sugar climbs too high or dips too low. Read more >
